Bridge Between Academics and Practice

This was a timely book since Perceived Organizational Support (POS) has been studied in many aspects since 1986 when the concept was first proposed. It provided a good mix between what the research has shown and how it is relevant to organizations. Managers who are looking for new ways to motivate and engage employees should read this book and apply some of the concepts. Employees want to know that somebody cares.

I wrote an original thesis about POS and Organizational Commitment, this book was a big part of it, has a large ammount of well organized information, iit's light clear and deep, a not so common combination.
